Sweets

After the chutney, sweet is must for Bengali. Without any sweets, ending of Bengali- feast never end happily. So keep buying different sweets and sweet yogurt from the store and serve it.

Bengal Chicken Curry

This, chicken curry is cooked in the most of the Bengali house.


Easy Jarda Polao- Zarda pulao

Patoler Dolma- Stuffed Pointed Gourd

Echorer Hingi- Green jack fruit with Asafoetida

 

This is an old Bengali spicy vegetarian item.


Special Begun Vajaa- Special eggplant fry

Now I will teach the special eggplant fry, which will serve with moong/ moth beans /pulses.


Tomato Diye Vajaa Moong Daal- Fried Moth beans with tomato

Laal Shaak Vajaa- Fried Red Amaranth

Firstly, red amaranths are fried. Because an old tradition of Bengali is that at the auspicious ceremonies, the feast begins with the plain rice and any fried amaranth/shaak vajaa; because, the Bengali thinks that this is very good rituals for any festivals.
