Maida diye chushir payesh!- Chushi pittha with flour

Generally the chushir payesh/pittha (one type of kheer) is made in the winter - it is because new fragrance rice powders and Nalen Gur/date molasses/Jaggary made by dates are available.

 

But these two main ingredients are not available at other times of the year except winter - so we do not eat this delicious kheer/chushi pitha even if we want it.

 

 

When the molasses and new rice powder are not
