Biuli-r daal- Kalaai er daal- Urad daal- (Black Gram Soup)
The biulir daal or kalaai er daal is complementary to each other with Aloo posto. One does not get complete fulfillment except one.
Today I will teach these two terms in the style of north Kolkata. It is no hesitation to say that people of West Bengal have done better than East Bengal over these two terms. Although I myself was a Bangaal, my mother-in-law was Ghoti, meaning that she was a daughter of North Kolkata's Banadi family. I have learned so much from her that which is unimaginable.
